WELCOME to the STRESS FREE REAL ESTATE GURU blogspot

I am a life coach and certified hypnotherapist who specializes in a holistic approach to stress management.
I am also a licensed realtor in Pacific Palisades,California.
I have been in real estate for 16 years. The best part of being a realtor is that I have been able to help so many people find a home for their family and watch as they flourish and grow in the community. I strive to guide them through the process from beginning to end as stress free as possible.
Granted, buying and selling your home can be a source of stress!
The more support, information  and service that is provided to you, the whole experience can be much easier to manage.
The ability to feel comfortable and know that someone is there to "have you back" makes any real estate transaction much smoother.
In this blog spot I want to offer support and guidance for all your real estate needs.
I encourage anyone to comment or ask questions <3

The biggest topic on peoples mind today is the economic effect on diminishing housing values resulting in
SHORT SALES and FORECLOSURES

Q: What is a short Sale? How do I deal with the feeling of being overwhelmed by possibly losing my home?

A: A brief summary of a short sale is when you ask the bank to agree to take the amount of your outstanding mortgage, compare it to the current value of your home reducing that outstanding balance and selling it to satisfy the debt.  That is a very brief definition.
(please consult your realtor or legal professional for complete disclosure)

The best approach for dealing with all the justifiably emotional barrage that comes with the fear of losing a home is to move quickly to get informed!!! Find out from someone you trust and can rely on to help you through it. There are so many agencies and professionals who specialize in short sales. It is so common these days that someone you know and most likely one of your neighbors is going through the exact same thing right now. Come out of shame and blame and have that fierce conversation with yourself.
Find someone who can help you or guide you to the best solution for you. DO IT NOW!
Don't wait to reach out, find a professional who can explain, consult or just answer questions. Getting this information will bring you peace of mind. Get off the fence!
The sense of well being comes from having a pro-active plan with plenty of options. You always have options!! Yes, it might be that the only option is to sell your house in a short sale but, sometimes ending a situation that has been draining and depleted you emotionally and financially and has caused suffering can be a relief in itself. A new beginning is something to look forward to especially when you realize that this is a temporary situation and life goes on. Try the following.......
* Have a good cry and get it all out (you are entitled to feel your emotions)
* Face the fact that it is happening all around you (you are not alone)
* Do some research about your specific situation and look for who can help you with it (internet, friends, family)
*Call a professional you can trust who is experienced in their field (check them out, before you commit)
*GET IT DONE
( take a deep breath and relax a minute knowing that you are doing the best thing for you and your family)

Once you have an action plan, you can at least know that you are back in control of your direction and have the support and strength to finish the task which will open up other possibilities to you. Nurture yourself through the process in any way that will keep you in balance.
Exercise, meditate, read, pray, whatever it takes to keep your mind, body and spirit strong.
Knowledge is power, pass it on <3
